What are you doing?

  5. these two posts are amazing.

i love the V. Woolf reference...just ordered some of her writing. When my mother in law died i took smooth stones from Rye Beach in NH and would stack them later--a friend told me i was playing with my soul. Your stacks are arranged beautifully!

  10. thank you, thank you all for such sweet supportive comments.

Kristi, a photo story *would* be really satisfying.

    mansuetude,
play is such an important element to healing isn't it. being able to look at the world and recognized beauty everywhere. Virginia Woolf is on the top of my book list for August, she's been standing at the edge of my mind for quite sometime, feel like I should investigate her further soon.

kirsten, those buttons are lovely thank you for the link, they would be nice buttons for the dress in this performance. I've been thinking about stones with holes drilled in them quite a lot. I'd love to see what comes of your buttons.

debra, kirsten, and marie-louise, thank you for speaking up, it feels like I have met unexpected new friends today.

  11. I was awed by these posts when I found them a few weeks ago. I've been returning to view them. Your collection is bountiful, your images are evocative, the stone dress is inspired. You have inspired me to rediscover my own collections and post them today...
